A:AnswerArlo Light is not camera equipped so it has no night vision. If you are looking to get a camera with an integrated spotlight, we recommend checking the Arlo Pro 3 Floodlight camera. ^RM
A:AnswerThe minimum time is 5 minutes once it has been tripped. You can set it up to stay on for up to 60 minutes once tripped or you can set it to always on. Of course, that runs down battery life pretty quick.
A:AnswerYou have to have an Arlo Base Station set up and then get the Spotlights that have the extender in the package. The extender sets up with the base. After you have the extender set up then you can add just the spotlight to the system. But to start, you need an Arlo base (with the camera system) and the spotlight package with the extender in it.
A:AnswerAlthough there are two responses indicating the light will work without purchase of additional equipment, the light will not work without a “bridge” which is sold separately. I bought this and had to return it as the bridge was 2 times the amount of the light.
A:AnswerWe have ours set up along with cameras but do not have subscription. You need a bridge to set up the lights. The lights nor bridge are not connected to the base station the bridge is connected to WiFi on its own.
A:AnswerI have Arlo Ultra cameras and wicked fast wi-fi. I've not yet been able to install my security lights. Customer service has been very poor (I'm being kind ...) and myproblem remains unresolved.
A:AnswerThe setting can be set in the Arlo app or my.arlo.com. It's under Mode. Then Arlo Bridge. Then Add a Mode. There you can set the night and day settings as well as the sensitivity.
A:Answerif you have fiber internet and your mobile service is 4g or better then your connection is more than adequate. This is just a security light much like a floodlight with a sensor but one you can manage and add on with an arlo cam that will record a video when secure light sensor is triggered. An Arlo Ultra has a built in light if you want that versatility. One last thing, you will need an Arlo Bridge to manage this. Going for an Arlo Ultra is the economical way to go else if you have the budget then go foe it! Hope this helps. :)
