“How far away can the motion be from the camera to pick it up and record? I have a cheap one in my house facing out the window. I have worked in my backyard and it did not pick anything up at all. I need something that can pick up at some distance.”

I like the camera, I am not happy at how far the motion sensor reaches. In the photo below, the sensor reaches just about to the flower bed. If I manually play the video, I can see to the trees BUT it will not pick up motion. The distance from deck to flowers is about 12-15 yards
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have had it pick up motion at about 15 Feet it could possibly be more but I’ve only had the system several weeks. However I have noticed I have small animals around and they don’t seem to set off the motion.
