As with anything that is connected to the internet it could be hacked but set strong passwords for router and connected devices and I think you will be fine.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Anything can be hacked, using strong passwords and staying with Arlo app, I do not see a problem. I do not have my camera's inside, only for the perimeter, so not worried. If you are worried about hacking on live video, Netgear, the owner of Arlo is a very strong and safe company from what I know. I would go with a reputable company that manufactures camera's and not an off brand. A lot to be said for that in this case.
