“I unplug my wireless router before bed every night and plug it back in in the morning. Will this require some sort of set up each time the router is plugged in, or will the camera become operational on its own each time?”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Not 100% sure, but they should reconnect when your router comes back on, same as if there was a power failure. I've disconnected mine, and they automatically reconnect, as long as the camera has battery power.
