You can place your Arlo camera a maximum of 300 feet (90 meters) from the SmartHub or base station. The maximum line-of-sight range of 300 feet is reduced by each wall, ceiling, or other major obstruction between the camera and base station. With a good wi-fi signal all 3 of my cameras habenworked reliably well. 2 are about 30 feet from the base and 1 is about 40. All 3 work very well. Not flawless, but well over 95 % reliability on average for all 3. The 40 footer is a tad bit the lesser, but not much. I've been very happy with the system overall. The Arlo 3 is much better than the earlier models for me. Not sure the max range, and many factors may affect performance, but mine is a nice barometer for an average aingle family home. My base is inside and all 3 cameras are outdoors. Based on my setup, I could probably move the furthest one out 10 feet more and get decent results.
