Yes it will. We were on vacation and got alerts of motion on and off. The camera can be unscrewed from optional mounts and moved wherever you want it.

From the house and it works fine. Of course it only records when there is movement to activate the camera, or you activate the "live" node. It records to the base unit which you can access from your phone. I can get live or recorded video from anywhere in the world. I travel extensively and have no problem checking in on the home front.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would buy a camera system designed for that. Arlo is unreliable and I had many instances where the cameras would go offline for no reason. If you are out of state and your camera decides to go offline are you going to fly back to fix it? Chances are it may go offline again afterward. Arlo Pro is an overpriced toy that I have found to be very unreliable because it often goes offline and jamming Wi-Fi seems to be a favorite hobby of criminals.
