Yes it can, but depending on the base station you have is the resolution you will get. For example the pro 3 will perform or offer 2k video with the vbm4000 but with the vbm4500 will only perform to 1080p. Also you would only be able to access local storage through the app on base stations vbm4540 and vbm5000. This cameras do not have the 7 day free cloud storage like the arlo pro 2.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe that it can be added to the Arlo Pro 2 system. I upgraded and purchased the Arlo 3 base station with 2 cameras so that I would have the most updated technology. My Arlo Pro 2 and original Arlo cameras work just fine with the Arlo 3 base station, so I'm guessing that the Arlo 3 camera will work with the Arlo Pro 2 base station. I was also able to add the "Arlo Smart" technology for all of the cameras (even the older ones). Worse case scenario, you could always return the Arlo 3 camera to Best Buy and pay a little more for an Arlo 3 package if it won't sync.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, but beware of the cloud subscription plan required by ARLO for the Pro 3 and Ultra cameras. No free cloud hosting (like with Pro or Pro 2) for these cameras.
