There is no fee for the app but if you want them saved for thirty days it's thirty dollars for a year to the cloud.

I found no benefit of the subscription and got rid of it because I usually used the USB device to capture the videos. I think the only benefit is if you are monitoring over a period of time where you plan to be gone and need the uploads to the Cloud to view on the phone while away. The app is the same for either the free or subscription. I found their app, which changes often, very useless and repetitive. It is a very poor app for a system like this and needs a major overhaul.

For free you get a 7 rolling day period with a gigabyte of storage ( I think ) . You can also download any videos you want to save directly to your phone or pc .
