“Does the Arlo Pro base have to connect directly into a router or can I connect it to a Google wi-fi point in another room? The manual says router. Same thing?”

• You can plug it into an extender as well, as long as the extender is on the same network as the router.

• As long as it's got an ethernet port to plug in to you're good. I have mine plugged in to a Netgear Orbi Satellite (not the main router) and everything's fine! :)
