“Does this camera have the rechargeable battery and the external receptacle in place in the body of the camera for the recharging cable ? I have a AC line next to the desired mounting location and so to keep the unit always powered up.”

Yes, it came with a newly sealed battery and has a charge receptacle. In addition, it came with a factory sealed cable and charging/power block.
