“Do these need a door bell to be hooked up to? Because I bought them from Best Buy and the guy who came to install them said he couldn’t install them because I don’t have a door bell? If they are wireless cameras I don’t get why I need to hook up to that?”

You bought the wireless cameras. The doorbell is a separate unit/purchase. You do not need a doorbell in order for the cameras to work.
