“How easy is it to replace the batteries? If I mount this camera high, will the battery compartment be easy to access for replacement? I would hate to struggle with it while perched on a tall ladder. Thanks!”

You will have to take the camera down to replace the batteries. The battery compartment is underneath the camera and it is a tight place to access.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Depending on how you mount the camera. If you use the magnetic holder you can easily grab the camera and remove it to access the batteries. If you use the screw in mount it will be more difficult to unscrew the camera from the mount to access the battery compartment.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It's easy but I would pull the camera off the mounting bracket which is only magnetic so just pull if off. Once you get down to the ground you will pull the back off and rwplace the batteries. I would be careful if you choose to do the battery replacement on your latter the back cover takes a little bit of pressure to slide open.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Extremely easy to replace the four batteries and each camera. Just flip the little tiny switch toward you while pushing the bottom out to open the bottom. Then replace every other battery positive to negative.
