Yes, you can set them up on a schedule to only record at certain times. Essentially, the part you are scheduling is the motion detection. They're always on (but in power saving mode). The cameras aren't technically on unless you're actively looking at them through the app. When motion detection is on, it will be looking to trigger the camera to turn on. That's how he batteries last so long.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you can easily turn motion and recording on/off individually for each camera, from app or pc.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You determine which cameras record and when or if they record. All done by the smoothly interfaced app
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes I have it setup on my smartphone to have the ability to turn the camera's motion sensors on or off. When off they do not record at all. There is also a scheduling feature but it is very quirky. I was only able to set a few days worth of motion detection on or off so I now use it like an alarm system that I turn on and off via the phone app when I am away or asleep.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You have the ability to schedule the times you want the cameras to be automatically on and off. You do this through the scheduler - accessible via the online portal or through an app you install on your phone/tablet. I'm not sure you can turn them on or off individually, we do it only as a complete system. However, you can change the settings on each camera individually through the application (making one camera more sensitive to motion detection while the other less sensitive). Hope this helps.
