“Lowest temperature they will tolerate? I live in an area where when the winter months come the night time temperature can go below zero. I know the specifications say 14F for a low but if they are not in direct wind and the temperature still goes that low will they shutdown?”

From the research I have done, I would not recommend this system for extreme cold temps. The battery life will be drastically affected and not work as long under the temps you mentioned. These cameras are weatherproof but seem to be primarily for indoor use.
