• CR123A They last about 6-9 months Bought my at best buy, they aren't expensive

• These type of batteries are cheaper if purchased in bulk (i.e. 12 pack). The amount of motion detection, combined by the quality of video under settings will determine its life. I've had my system up close to 2 weeks and showing full bars. Decreasing sensitivity on each of your cameras also helps to prolong battery life.
