I live in upstate New York, and winter is tough to get a good read on battery life since cold kills batteries. However my experience is it takes about 4-5 hours to charge from being completely dead, depending on how cold it is when you bring it in. As far as battery life, in the cold (below freezing temps) I’ve been getting about a 4-5 weeks of use before it needs charged. I don’t have a lot of visitors, so the frequency of visitors and activation of the camera can affect the time frame for use.
