Arlo Ultra 2 camera requires a supported Arlo base station/SmartHub for it to operate. Also, this camera comes with an Arlo Smart trial. When the trial expires, you have the option to purchase an Arlo Smart subscription. Without an Arlo Smart subscription, you can still add up to 5 cameras to your Arlo account, live stream, and receive motion and audio notifications. ^RM
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have 2 hubs a new one and older. The new cameras work with old hub, and do not require a subscription to keep the 7 day or so many videos. The new hub you can buy a SD card and it can store the videos as well. Hope this helps.
