No. You’ll need to purchase one separately if you want local storage. Without it, you can still use cloud storage (with a subscription) or live streaming. 2) Arlo cameras themselves don’t take memory cards directly — instead, the Arlo SmartHub or Base Station has the slot. That’s where you insert a card for local video storage— depending on type. i)• Type: microSD card (standard format, not proprietary) ii)• Capacity: Minimum 16 GB, up to 2 TB supported depending on the hub iii)• Speed class: Class 10, UHS‑I recommended (V10 or higher is best for HD/4K video) iv)• File system: FAT32 (the hub will usually format the card automatically) v)• Best choice: “High Endurance” microSD cards (like SanDisk Extreme or Samsung PRO Endurance) — these are built for continuous video recording and last longer than regular consumer cards.
