“How do you stop the back of the chair from moving, I don't want to rock back and forth and the lever that I think fixes my issue doesn't move, or it just doesn't move unless I use actual force on it.”

Never mind, all you do is push down the lever, i thought because of the way it was positioned suggesting you pull it up that it didn't work. Just push down the lever and it will lock the position of the back rest that you want
