Hi Agentlizzo, SBG10 is a gateway (cable modem and a Wi-Fi router) and it can easily handle 20-25 devices running on its network but keep in mind that the more devices that are connected, the more shared bandwidth will be

I am using Comcast internet Blast which I believe is 300 Mbps and my Arris SBG10 has a possible speed of 686 Mbps. So I have a possibility to go faster if my provider offers another package at over the 686 Mbps. Now this is connecting with the Ethernet port. With the WiFi you may not achieve your full speed because of location of the modem ie: distance from modem, barriers like walls and floors. I have been using the Arris now for about a week and not had any issues. I have one smart TV and two TV's one with the XFi box from Comcast and one with the Apple TV, plus three cell phones, two computers and one laptop. The AC1600 WiFi seems to be working fine for me but my house is small. If you have a large house you may need to go with a WiFi mesh system for all of your wireless needs such as the eero. The eero is expensive though.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am very satisfied with the product, however all I am using it for is to monitor some security cameras in a vacation house I own which is normally empty except for when I visit and use my wifi for very light internet access. I use xfinity for my internet provider. All that I use it for works great for me.
