I just switched from AT&T and did not want to pay modem Fees going to Xfinity. I bought the Aris 2in1 and Love it. I did not buy the top of the line, think I paid $119. I stream, run two PCs and have a wireless home security and have had no problems. Has great Range, so I have no complaints and I am saving roughly 10 bucks a month rental fee!

Comcast would only accept the retail modems for business accounts and not the gateways. So depending on your speed requirements you can opt for SB6190, SB6183, SB8200 etc. and you can purchase a router separately . Arris SURFboard SB8200 and mAX Pro would be a good combination for gigabit speed subscription plans
