“Does this modem work well with Exede (Viasat) Internet? I have slow wifi speed, and need the modem to be able to handle more data from my tv usage and cell phone. I was told by my home internet/wifi installer to get another router. Thanks!”

Viasat offers satellite internet services but this devices (SBG10) is compatible to work only with cable internet services.
