• A:Answer Absolutely NOT. My cable company started charging for the modem. I bought this model only to find out there is NO VOICE connection for your telephone. I returned it. It must say it On the box that it has the telephone connection.

• A:Answer If the box doesn’t say VOICE (vo) on it then it doesn’t have the phone jack.i bought the same exact arris modem that optimum supplied us with. Easy install. Call optimum to finish the installation

• A:Answer Yes it works with Cox internet. Uh, good luck with your landline, it's all ugly in landline these days, but I did Cox on my business lines. They seem to work most of the time. They use a separate modem for the phone & make sure they put in the battery in case of power outage.
