• Yes it works with Mediacom for internet, but I couldn't get the phone service to work. They will have to send out a technician at some point to see about fixing it.

• The tm822r has download speeds up to 343mb and the tm822g is up to 300mb the only other difference is the price. Either one would work mediacom
