“Will this router/modem prevent buffering, freezing and switching back to home? I have Comcast for internet only and Hulu. Two of three TVs require fire sticks. Presently I have an old router/modem rented from Comcast. I prefer to own mine.”

Hello - this modem has very fast speeds and should be able to improve your connection if you are using an old/outdated modem & router combo.
