• A:Answer Yes this works with Comcast. Following the instructions is simple, but you will need to have a cell phone with internet access available. Once the hook up is complete all you do is return your rented box to Comcast. Comcast will try to tell you they need your serial number, mac address and such. That is not true and you do not need to provide it.

Q: QuestionIn order to extend my LAN I connect a router to the modem. Will the SBG7600 work with another router. My current rented modem does work, but I am looking for a faster modem.

• A:Answer You would have to first activate the SBG7600 device with your internet service provider and then you can connect your separate wifi router to one of the available LAN ethernet ports to get the internet connection for your router. Note: You cannot use the SBG7600 as a standalone wifi router, you would have to use the DOCSIS (modem) part of the device as well

• A:Answer Yes, if you have the "my spectrum" app on your phone just go to the 'activate device' section and it will give u instructions. if not just give them a call and it is very straight forward. Keep in mind it will take about 15 minutes for your modem to download and install all updates, during this time your wifi wont be usuable. In my case i wasn't able to be on the line with rep until wifi came "live" i didnt feel like wasting his or my 15 minutes sitting around waiting for it to work lol. Also, if you are planning on selling your old modem, this would be a great time to have THAT modem deactivated on their end, this way the next user wont have to deal with headaches trying to activate it.

Q: Questioni have a arris ac2350 that the wireless will cut out/in several times aday. it is about 1 1/2 years in service. just started about 3 weeks ago.all the lights stay on and the cable tv still works during this. has 2 year warrenty. how do i exchange it??

• A:Answer If the warranty is through best buy then you can simply take it in and get another one. But they will try ans fix it for you. And by fix it, i mean send it to the manufacturer and have then fix it all at a cost to you. I would reach out to the manufacturer for tech support first. If that doesnt work and you have a warranty through bestbuy, take it to the geek squad and simply ask for an exhange. Hope this helps.
