“In order to extend my LAN I connect a router to the modem. Will the SBG7600 work with another router. My current rented modem does work, but I am looking for a faster modem.”

• You would have to first activate the SBG7600 device with your internet service provider and then you can connect your separate wifi router to one of the available LAN ethernet ports to get the internet connection for your router. Note: You cannot use the SBG7600 as a standalone wifi router, you would have to use the DOCSIS (modem) part of the device as well
