Yes it will. I have one on my current network and it works fine.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It doesn't have a dedicated VOIP port (phone jack). However it will support VOIP as long as your provider doesn't block it for some reason. You would be able to use magic jack or vonage with it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had a phone plugged into the modem and it worked fine. I have disconnected the phone service for other reasons now. Not sure what service you are using, but if you have something like Vonage, you are good to go.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm looking at the box the modem for SURFboard DOCSIS 3.0 cable modem came in and i'm not seeing anything saying it supports digital phone. Even on the back of the box where it lists options to fit your needs to try and buy the right modem... I see nothing listing digital phone service. I hope this was helpful. If not, I'm sorry.
