I have the netgear wndr4300 works with it , don't see why it won't.

This device is only a cable modem. It has a single Ethernet port on the back that you should be able to plug into any wireless router or computer for internet access. So yes, this device should work with your wireless router.

I use it with a netgear router (although not wireless) and have no issues.

I would assume so - I use the Surfboard 6120 and it works like a champ with my netgear 3500

No, it works with my old Belkin router and I don't have any problem with them.
