I don't have Blast, but on the compatibility list, it isn't listed, so I would say no. Here's the link the to the compatibility list, http://mydeviceinfo.comcast.net/. Select your speed tier and it will list all compatible modems.

If your planning on upgrading to the higher speeds, a higher model will be good idea otherwise, this model will work just fine for most people.
