• This is a cable modem and I am almost 100% sure it will not work with century link.

• CALL COMCAST THEY WILL TELL U THAT IS WHAT I DID. THEY HAD A LIST OF MODEMS FOR ALL COMPUTERS. HOPE THIS HELPS

• To get a firm answer to the compatibility with Centruylink, I would ask them how they provide your services. Either with cable, or DSL. If they say DSL, this modem will not work. Those are the two main ways internet services are provided to residential homes.

• Check with them, they should be able to provide you with a list of supported modems (if it is not on their website) -- that was how I knew this model would work with RCN.
