- Answer According to Mediacom's website, they recommend using the tested modems on their list. The G54 is not compatible with voice service. - Answer The G34 is compatible with major Cable Internet Providers. It is not compatible with Kinetic Windstream DSL Internet.

- Answer This modem is only compatible with cable internet service. HTC provides fiber optic service, thus the modem is not compatible with their service offering. You will need to get your modem through HTC.

- Answer The key difference is the G36 has a 2.5 Gbps Ethernet port plus four 1 Gbps ports. The G34 has four 1 Gigabit ports.
