There are real instructions, past the enclosed quick-start guide, but you must download them. If you're on Comcast/Xfinity, they will need to be contacted for provisioning, and they must upload a bootloader file. If you use the 2.5 GB port on the back, and that port isn't working, it's because the person on the phone uploaded the wrong bootloader... they were trying,but really didn't have a clue. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Typically instructions are minimal since your cable co. Simply needs the serial codes to activate then you plus to the cable outlet and run either to a wifi system (router) or simply plug up directly to device via Ethernet cable.
