• friend it is an upgrade docsis 3.1 modem. you do not need 2 modems.... so it would not compatible....contact your ISP for modem compatibility list....

• It’s not really a “comparability” issue, DOCSIS is the tech that allows internet signals to pass over coaxial cable. DOCSIS 3.1 carries faster data and has better security than 3.0. If your ISP offers gigabit speeds then go with the 3.1. If you only have a few hundred Mb speeds then 3.0 is perfectly fine.
