Not sure. This is a DOCSIS 3 compliant modem though. Check your providers web site; usually they list the cable modems that are compatible with their service.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If you look on the side of the box it lists the cable providers that the modem will support. As I recall it is Comcast compatible. I am not sure about the cable box they sent you. When I think about a cable box I am thinking about a TV Box to tune in channels. I would say if you get this modem you would not need the modem provided by Comcast. Then you could attached an independent Wireless router. This way you have separate devices should one fail you do not have to replace the entire wireless cable modem that is all in one.

We weren't getting any signal upstairs for our wifi and this combination not only did the trick but gave us a 5g signal. Works great with the Comcast cable boxes. We have two X1 boxes and a basic box.
