There is only one port on the modem
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It is not recommended if they are within 25ft of each other. Overlapping signals will "fight each other" and affect speed. The only two signals that will not interfer with each other is 2.4ghz and 5.0ghz signals.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.routers are daisey chained to each other with an Ethernet cable. one cable from one router to the modem then from one router to the other. also the first router has to be connected to your computer also.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It can be done but there could be several possible problems that would need to be solved first. It would be much better to feed the second router from your main router and not have any major speed or data loss.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.the surfboard has one Ethernet plug for connection.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.you can only connect 1 router to this modem but most routers can have other routers that can be bridged as another access point
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.no, you need to daisy-link them. connect one router to modem, and then connect 2nd router to 1st.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have two Airport Extremes connected in series. Use Ethernet to connect from a LAN port of the primary Wi-Fi base station to the WAN port of an extended Wi-Fi base station. The primary base station is the base station connected directly to the Internet.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am not a computer expert! There is only one Ethernet port that comes off the modem that you would connect to your router. I would suggest talking to a network specialist. I am not sure why you need to routers; that is why I am suggesting talking to a network specialist as they will be able to answer the need for two separate routers. I know most wireless routers have both wireless and 3 Ethernet port to hard wire into computers that do not have a wireless option.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can connect one of the two routers up directly to the modem. The second router can be connected behind the first router via the LAN ports on both devices, as long as the DHCP feature is disabled on this second router. This will make the second router function as a wireless access point. Your other option would be to have the second router connect its WAN port to the LAN port of the first router which would create a secondary network behind or inside of the network that the first router is maintaining.
