• You can try updating the software on your family member's device. Then enable Split-mode in the G54 so that each radio broadcast it's own SSID. Then try connecting to the 5GHz or 2.4 GHz network. 2.4 GHz covers the greatest distance at speed lower than 5 GHz. The 5GHz provide faster speed at shorter distance.
