QuestionMy son just got these and is saying that while playing Fortnight, he can only hear chat or the game through the headphones, not both. Is this true? Wouldn’t that defeat the purpose of headphones?

- Answer As a grown man that plays shooting games around 4 times a week, I can tell you that that is NOT TRUE. One of the following is happening: Your son is lying and doesn't want all his audio in his ears because it makes it harder to have a quiet voice chat channel (with the headphones) Or, your son doesn't know that the Playstation4 (this is a PS4 headset, so I am assuming he plays on ps4) has voice settings to mix or split voice chat and game audio. also, most gamers do "party chat" and there is yet another audio mix configuration for party chat audio. to fix it, go watch this youtube video: https://youtu.be/mdqHkRaGLjw ENJOY THE SILENCE

QuestionHow does the mic work? I live in a house with a bunch of lite sleepers and I usually play at night so when I talk I need to talk quietly, so does the mic pic up if you talk quietly?

- Answer Yes, even though you can adjust the microphone level on your console, these could also hear you talking at a low volume.

- Answer Check your sound output setting on pc. Microphone settings or anything related to that, make sure the mic works using another device to be sure its not faulty.

- Answer Plug the cord fully!! I thought i had it in right and the same thing happened to me.. Check the plug where you connect it to the headset!
