Yes, you can do your online banking with this laptop. You have normal access to the internet as long as you have access to wifi. I use this computer for one specific purpose: monitoring the parameters of the diesel engine in my motorhome. It works perfectly. The built-in windows browser works just like the bigger computers. Since this is an entry-level laptop, the RAM is smaller, the drive is smaller and the processor a little slower. For processing financial transactions online, you won't notice much difference. One caveat: this laptop comes with Windows 10-S. The "S" means Microsoft has restricted the installation of non-approved software. This design is to prevent the installation of programs that might do damage. There are instructions on the internet on how to eliminate the "S" restrictions if you want to install a software package that you are comfortable with but Windows will not allow the install. I encountered this problem with the only program I planned to run but was able to make the appropriate setting changes in a few minutes to eliminate the "S" restriction. Bottom line: you can't beat the price!
