Google Chrome cannot be installed and used with the laptop, Google Docs can be accessed through a Google or Gmail account, from a web browser. No need to switch to WINDOWS 10 PRO. However, you can switch at your own discretion. Once you switch to WINDOWS 10 PRO, you won't be able to go back ti WIN 10 S. The OS comes with an anti-virus software and a media player, by default.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.YOU CAN DOWNLOAD CHROME BROWSER. YOU CAN GET OUT OF S MODE (YOUTUBE IT), RECOMED THIS BEFORE DOWNLOADING CHROME. AFTER ALL UPDATES ABOUT 7-10 GB EMPTY DEPENDING. DONT NEED ANTI-VIRUS ON WIN 10. MEDIA PLAYER TAKES TOO MUCH SPACE, DOWNLOAD VLC PLAYER THEN USE A 64GB microSDXC ($ 12.00) LEAVE IT PLUGGED IN.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you'll have to switch out of S mode. But its extremely easy and only takes a few minutes. You just try to install something, and it will actually take you to the MS store to do it. (You will have to update the store app- but that is also automated) Is there enough memory for antivirus? Technically yes, but it will kill your performance. The built in Windows Defender is really not that bad, and keeps the performance hit to a minimum. I would suspect Norton or AVG might make this machine unusable. They do run constantly, and evaluate everything you run, and connect to. But I don't use either on this machine. Media player is included in Windows, and runs great.
