• The OS is Windows Pro S. You can switch it to Windows 10.

• Yes. It has Windows 10 S Mode installed. S Mode only allows you to install apps through the Microsoft Store, but it is very easy (and free) to turn off S Mode so you can install other apps. You just got to the Microsoft Store and do a search, and the process takes less than a minute.
