- Answer Yes, S mode can be turned off. Just Google turning off S mode Windows 11 or follow instructions below: Switching out of S mode in Windows On your PC running Windows 11 in S mode, open Settings > System > Activation. In the Switch to Windows 11 Pro section, select Go to the Store. .. On the Switch out of S mode (or similar) page that appears in the Microsoft Store, select the Get button. - Answer The answer provided by ASUS is incorrect. The SSD drive is not upgradable, but there is an open M2 slot to install a second SSD, which I have done with a 512GB drive.
