A:AnswerNo. There is no slot for a disk, but you can insert a USB Stick (flash drive). This model has two USB ports , so if you are using a wireless mouse you don't have to remove it to insert the stick.
A:AnswerWe just used the onboard / internal speakers, didn't need to hookup any external speakers. The volume is loud enough & clear enough without headphones.
Bought this for one purpose, and don't need excel for that, so can't help you with that.

A:AnswerChrome is the Operating System based on the Google Chrome Web Browser. So yes Chrome is on there. Excel is part of Office 365 and it is a subscription service. Google Docs/Slides and Sheets is included and is Office Compatible.
