The battery in internal. You have to take it to a computer service
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The battery is NOT removable. You probably can use with a non functioning battery (if plugged in.) You can use while charging, while in use, and while NOT charging..if battery has little to no juice, it should still operate until it is completely dead. I charge mine nightly to full charge regardless of use to always have it ready when needed. Great Laptop for the price point.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.1.Battery is internal but can be removed with a couple of screws and removing a single cable. I do not recommend accessing it yourself and should be brought to a professional 2. Batteries have multiple signs of end of life but they usually last two or more years. 3. Yes I have personally tested the computer will power on with the battery completely removed. 4. It will work with non functioning battery but should be replaced or disposed of properly as soon as possible as a malfunctioning battery can be hazardous. 5. There are multiple ways to prolong longevity of battery however best to full charge before long periods off of charger.
