“What kind of water proofing does this computer have? I want to get one for my sister as I have really enjoyed mine but she is accident prone and I don't want her to accidentally ruin this laptop by spilling a drink on it.”

If she's that accident prone, get her a tablet.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine had a screw come loose on the inside and I guess short something. ASUS blamed it on me even though I didn't take it apart or do anything other than normal use. They don't want to honor the warranty. I wouldn't think it's water proof and wouldn't trust them at all. Run, get something else from another manufacturer. ASUS is awful.
