Q: QuestionThere are no dedicated drivers for Q546FD. The BIOS and drivers are using F536FD versions. Why? F536FD does not have a screenpad. I'm having problems getting this to function properly, and quite honestly about ready to return this laptop.

• A:Answer Not sure if I just had a defective model, but mine made a really high pitch whining sound. It wasn't really loud, but it was so shrill I couldn't ignore it, and it gave me a headache after enough time passed. I really tried to ignore it, but it was too distinct. Also, I work IT and I'm often in server rooms. So I am no strange to various loud fan noises, so even I was amazed with how much this bothered me.
