This device has 2 x SO-DIMM socket for expansion, up to 32 GB SDRAM, Dual-channel. There's a 512GB PCIe® Gen3 x2 SSD. You have option to add additional storage with 2.5" SATA drive.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I upgraded the ram the same day I got it . ram is 1 stick of 8gb so I added another. and there is empty slot for a ssd drive. that is what I noticed hope this helps
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Also, from what I can tell, it does NOT support Intel XMP. I just upgraded my memory from the stock 8gb to 16 using 2 x8 Micron Ballastic sticks. They are said to run at 2666 (which is what this laptop is supposed to support) , but after inserting, they default to 2400. Sure its only a small speed difference , but I wish I had known that going into the purchase. If I am wrong on this, please point me into the direction of how to enable it in BIOS. I am used to tinkering with my BIOS in a desktop, but not so much a laptop. For this device, it seems like its a lot of flash and graphics, and barely any substance. I do not think I have ever seen a BIOS so limited in what one can control.
