“My previous laptop was an Asus and is currently unusable because the charger Jack got loose and I don't intend on replacing a whole motherboard for it. I was curious wether the charging port is attached to the motherboard on this one as well.”

The charging port does not appear to be soldered onto the motherboard, it is mounted to the laptop chassis with a couple of screws and connects via a cable. Please see the attached photo.
