• Sorry, no touchscreen. It is packaged with an app that allows the touchpad to function like a touchscreen via gesturing.

• No, the screen is not a touchscreen, that is why I am not wild about Windows 8. I've been using Windows 7 on my other laptop and at work, so 8 is quite a bit different for me.
