Yes, I purchased this for my daughter for college. Granted, there was some bloatware that was on that I had to remove, but it is ready for use. When she moved in, because she was there for band camp, she went in and downloaded Netflix to help her pass the time until her roommate moved in this past weekend. She loves it and it is light enough for her to carry to her classes. I would watch out with it because Windows 10 Home wants to attach Microsoft accounts to the profile and it will take a bit to find how to create local accounts. The anti-virus software is only a 30 day trial. I would remove the anti-virus and use Windows Defender to protect the system.
